Global Shapers Community
Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers community is a network of young people under the age of 30 who work together to address local, regional and global challenges. With nearly 10,000 members, the Global Shapers community has 422 Hubs in 151 countries.
In each city, teams of Shapers get organized to create projects that meet the needs of their community. The scope of these projects is broad, ranging from disaster response to poverty alleviation or climate change. The Shapers are diverse in terms of expertise, education, income, and background, but they are united by their desire to drive change.
Global Shapers Lyon
The associative and entrepreneurial ecosystem of our city is rich, with many innovative and impactful initiatives. The Global Shapers Lyon Hub brings together young talents who wish to get involved locally in actions related to climate emergency, education, inclusion and health.
Our team currently counts 16 members with a variety of skills and sensibilities. The diversity of backgrounds and expertise of our members allows us to support and link these initiatives to maximize their impact. Ultimately, we wish to contribute to the virtuous transformation of our territory, which has the potential to be an example, both nationally and internationally.
